Does anyone have a spare set of Star Wars ROMs they could sell? I'm trying to sell my field and have a buyer but need the ROMs to finish the sale.
Found a set finally!
Thanks,

Re: Moving back to CRT
I don't have any good videos from when I had the LCD in my machine, but I do have these two photos which show the outline/black level from the LCD:

Issues during league meeting
I hosted the Orange County Pinball League on Sunday, and had two issues reported to me. I had Star Wars in my machine for the meeting, running version 2.0. 1) The game completely locked up. I witnessed the lockup and had to turn on/off the machine to get it running again. None of the buttons would r...

Re: Moving back to CRT
Yes, I'm running Nucore using the Ultimarc ArcadeVGA card connected to the CRT.

Re: Moving back to CRT
I think I updated this elsewhere on the site, but I did eventually try the G2210 as well. The black levels were better, but still not close to where I wanted them.
Re: Breakout?
Thanks for sharing the code! I'll be checking it out next time I startup my machine.
The kidney is reserved for once Wizard Blocks is running on my machine (I can dream)Eric A. wrote:Awww man how r u gonna tel him that so quickly. You should have made him promise you a kidney!
Breakout?
I was reading the pinballnews.com report on Pinball Expo where one photo caught my eye of a Breakout style game being played on a Nucore machine. Is there any chance of sharing how to access the game?

Re: Original monitor woes
Yes, the failure was fixed by those items as well as C807 (100uf 16v) which was in the cap kit, although I can't verify this since I replaced all of the components at the same time. The cap kit is what I assume took care of the alignment issue.

Re: Original monitor woes
Basically there's not much too it if you're familiar with replacing components on a circuit board. To discharge the monitor, I first watched the videos linked over at a thread on Arcadecontrols.com and followed the directions shown there. I didn't run into any surprises with my monitor. Looking back...

Re: Original monitor woes
Sorry about the lack of info. I've been working on my other pin projects since the Pin2k is finally finished. Everything went fine after replacing the components recommended by Ken Layton. I'd think I'm in the minority of preferring the CRT over the LCDs, but I'm very happy to have it up and running...

Re: Bill Ung UFO kit
Bill is quick! He suggested checking the flashbulb under the red arrow beneath the jump ramp, as LED #3 is dependent upon that bulb. Swapped it out and everything works as it should.

Bill Ung UFO kit
I just finished shopping out my RFM, which also involved installing Bill Ung's UFO light kit. There is a problem, but I don't know if it lies with the kit or with Nucore so I'm posting here and emailing Bill for advise. Does anyone else have the kit installed in their Nucore system? The issue mine h...

Check this thread on slickdeals, specifically the 2nd post: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1510005 It looks like Ebay is getting 10% cashback right now. The amount varies from time to time. Earlier today it was at 15%. When the program started months ago it was at 35%! It'...

Re: Original monitor woes
Cap kit ordered along with a few other parts based on the information I received from Ken Layton. I'll update this thread with results once I have them. This will be my first monitor discharging.... eek!
