This is the biggest news since NuCore was released - software 2.0 and full network support code with a working server! I'm impressed.
Keep up the good work.

Re: Update 12.15.08
Tell him the product needs to be done by January 1st, and if he can't find that bug by next week you will fire him and get someone who can. Never before have I seen such incompetent beta testers.

Re: Patent Issues
You guys are just way too sneaky Chuck - honest, the lawyers, US Marshall, and FBI were all there but they didn't see you in your disguise. Once they 'find' you, you had better look out. This is what your dev team and friends looked like at Expo right? http://www.halloweenexpress.com/popup_image.php...

Re: Quick Connectors
Quick Connectors aren't always as easy as they seem to be. Supposedly it'd be as simple as soldering the wire to one end of a connector, and then the connector should be as easy to work with as a phono plug for your stereo. In practice, the connectors are either way too tight (requiring a pair of pl...

Re: WTB: Pin2k glass
Is the glass a variable tint? meaning it is tinted darker towards the back than the front of the back half? Or is it a solid tint? And what did they say? Have you tried VHT Window Tint spray? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=VHT%2DSP171&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Re: Nucore software license?
uh, yeah, so you do know there are copies of MAME being sold right now, with kickbacks going to the MAME developers right? They have authorized sale of their open source code for the past 3 or 4 years to multiple distributors and modifications with their blessing. This is not MAME, however, and AFAI...

Re: Nucore software license?
If someone broke into my house, a report could be filed, and I'd know. Trouble is, if somebody can simply download the open source code, and compile it on their computer, there would have to be something in place to track and prosecute them. As of current copyright laws, infringement of copyright is...

Re: WTB: Pin2k glass
I've used OneDayGlass.com before - they do excellent work, custom cut of tempered/ceramic glass at good prices. - Make sure your measurements are accurate. My last order from them was for a backglass for $20 + $30 shipping, so a playfield glass for P2K shouldn't be much more expensive.

Re: Nucore software license?
ok then Mosten. What would stop someone from taking advantage of an open sourced solution then? How would you enforce it so these people would not take it for free?

Re: Nucore software license?
If showing respect and patience makes me a Troll, I'd like to be one with a big club. It's just sadistically humorous that people will work on a program for 2+ years, and when they want to make it available some people demand all their work for free.
