Re: USB board schematic?

So, you still aren't clearly stating the why, but you seem to be insinuating it is for copy protection. If so, then I re-iterate my statement, not publishing the schematic only hurts those of us who legitimately purchased your product. It took the music industry 10 years, but they finally figured ou...

Re: USB board schematic?

It's been a while since I've had any time to think about this. So, sorry if this reply seems delayed. It also took me a bit to find it since it must have been moved from Support. I'm not sure why since this IS a support issue. First, I will say that the exchange cost is reasonable. But, it sounds li...

Re: USB board schematic?

The schematic is not available. We will have a board swap plan announced soon. If the usb board fails out of warranty you will send it to us and we will immediately send a new or refurbished unit. The price will be very reasonable. That's what we're trying to decide. Huh? Are you saying don't plan ...

USB board schematic?

Moved to general since it's not a support issue. ************************************* Posted: Thu Sep 03, 2009 10:14 pm I finally completely finished the installation now. The various power supplies are all wired into the main chassis power system, the florescent tube is mounting an almost identica...

Re: Asking for advice about computer

Well, you say no dual-core so that is a show stopper for that system. Dual-core is required.

What is your area?

Re: Connecting a LCD to the original P2K hardware

No, it's this part... Also, I just jumpered the MUTE# signal which is J1 - pin 1 or the one side of R18 to the +5_ANA supply at any location you can find. I did it at a convenient via. I know Eric used an RC circuit and tied it to the digital 5V supply from the power connector. If you use the analog...

Re: Connecting a LCD to the original P2K hardware

I pulled the pics because there was a problem with what was shown. I haven't gone back and re-took them yet (partly because it means opening up my finally completed and packaged system). If you look on the Pin2K schematics, you can see where they originally intended the 1/8" jack to be connecte...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

I finally completely finished the installation now. The various power supplies are all wired into the main chassis power system, the florescent tube is mounting an almost identical location to stock, and the sound is all fixed. Everything seems to be working well. Now I just need to make a backup cl...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

Well, for the most part, the installation is done (finally). There's still a little bit of wiring to do, I need to add some light blocking foam around the panel, the sound needs some work to eliminate the digital noise in the system, and I still need to figure out how to mount the florescent housing...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

Well, the LCD I got is not as bad as the last one I saw (black levels), but not as good as I'd like. However, I'm going to learn to accept it. I'm going to order the same LCD through Amazon as the price is $160 delivered. I think the mounting scheme that GLM used in another thread is pretty nice so ...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

Ok thanks. Well, here's where I'm at right now. I am pretty bummed because I was hoping to get this dragging out project completed early this week. But, I am no further than I was other than knowing my monitor won't fit. I've been totally wishy-washy on what to do. If I drop $100 on an ArcadeVGA, I ...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

What's bing.com cashback? Do you have a link for the offer/program? Thanks, Jaz I got mine from a 3rd party distributor via Ebay with Bing.com cashback, otherwise I would've gone straight to Ultimarc. It's the only, as far as I know, distributor for Ultimarc products in the US. He also posts at arca...

Re: Original monitor woes

Unfortunately I'm no expert on 15k monitors. I have read about this before and I think I'm having the same issue with my Tron arcade game. I read that it could be a cap issue and re-capping should fix it. Again, I'm no expert so you might want to post on the arcadecontrol.com forums. Those guys kno...

Re: So, who will be the first to setup their machine?

The ArcadeVGA does display at the proper levels, and it looks just as it did with the original hardware. I'm looking to get a little bit of an extra boost with the amp to put it closer to the color/brightness levels the LCD was at. Ok thanks. Did you get yours from Ultimarc or is there a 3rd party ...
