Okay I figured out that the CMOS battery was dead, replaced it and whala the cmos settings no longer go back to default.....
WHEW so all in all your program works WONDERFUL it was the equipment....THANK YOU for all your help.

all is good now.....guess what it was....bios...amd machine..cool and quiet was enabled....I have no idea how it got changed to that but now all that works now the last thing is to auto start when we turn the power on instead of having to turn the computer button ON....dont know how that got changed...

iT GETS TO nUCORE lAUNCHER V1.0 Watchdog Init Nucore USB update running Checking for File Updates Done then sits there....or it GETS TO 29.813489 HDACODEC: uNKNOWN MODEL THEN runs through to the above and shuts down and starts all over again in an endless loop Or it gets to USB FTDI serial converter...

I am quite happy with the set up and performance of my nucore system, the juke box is a nice feature, I don't see a lot of
posts, I think because its a great system that does what it suppose to do.

First a thanks to Chuck for helping my wife out (she's the computer guru but didn't read the instructions properly). Everything is now working fine. I have a an Acer LCD 22" monitor coming tomorrow, so I'll be checking out install options. the jukebox is really fun and the optional amp from Ter...

Help NUCORE will not load Terminal does not come up....Do I need to run the ubuntu updates...it says there are 176 of them....wish there was someone I could call for HELP....darn

Is anyone out there that can help. I got the ubuntu loaded and I am at the point of installing NUCORE and it sees the disk I click RUN and expect to see the terminal and I see a flash but then NOTHING.....There are 176 updates for UBUNTU do I run those before trying to install NUCORE? Darn so close....
