I' ve unpacked with a Linux machine in the duty and now there is an nucore file on the USB stick.

I' ve downloaded twice. After unzipping with windows 7 the USB Stick contains "release12.tar.gz" and "release notes.txt"
I see my fault, I have no nucore file. The file must be uncompressed with Linux gunzip and tar program tomorrow.

I have downloaded the file and unzipped the files too a fat32 formatted usb stick ("Download this file, extract it to a USB thumb drive, and follow the upgrade procedure in the manual (page 42.)") I went too the pin and after the program tells me to put the stick into a usb slot, I do so. ...

Arghh, now I understand. I was on a wrong way, because there were a label "WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED" over J4. I thought the connector place is L1. Now is clear. Thank you very much

If you take a look at the pin layout on the p2k pc ( http://www.pinrepair.com/pin2000/index.htm#monitor ) pins 13 and 14 are the HS and VS signals.
