Re: Update 03.05.09

Thanks for the info Chuck. I'm a computer guy not a stereo guy (well at least beyond home theater which can be a connection nightmare)

Whatever I end up getting, I can use the same setup for my current stock PB2000 right?

Re: Update 03.05.09

[quote="Chuck"] If you want to go the high-end route, like I did, you'll need a 4 channel amp, you'll want new speakers, and a power supply for the amp. I used an Alpine 200 watt amp, 2 eclipse 2 way front speakers, a JB subwoofer, and a 600 watt computer power supply. I think it all ran m...

Re: Update 03.07.09

Thanks for the update. I would love to be part of the beta and it should really help with the final release.

Thanks too for the Watchman review. It looked good, but you never know. Firsthand accounts are all that count baby!

Re: Update 03.06.09

Any information on pricing and availabilty?

Does the licensing agreement allow WMS, IPB, or PF to develop new games based on the platform?

Re: Poll - Technical Expertise

In thinking about the previous post about a fanless solution, what do people think about using the Beagleboard? http://beagleboard.org/ It runs Linux, it is really low draw, fanless, and has great graphics. Here is a picture with a DLP engine mounted on top of the system (which we would not need) ht...

Re: Are you interested in buying our product?

I would purchase one of these in a heart beat. My interest is in getting an idea of how we can tweek one of the current games to make it custom for us. That would be quite and accomplishment.

Re: Update 10.30.08

Does anybody know Keith well enough to sit down and get the ideas of what they had in mind and if the playboy field was a repurposed item?

Re: Update 10.30.08

There was more information on the Stern situation on TOPCast's interview with Keith Johnson. One of the more interesting aspects of the 2 hour interview was his experiences with PB2000. He said that they were working on a Haunted House themed game that was put aside for the Playboy game. It sounded ...

Re: Menu Screenshots and New Loading Screen

Chuck,

This is excellent. It looks like it fits right into the overall look and feel of the WMS menu.

It is quite a bit of work to get something like this setup. I am in awe of the whole project.

Great work!

Cheers,

Hank

Re: Update 10.27.08

Chuck,

That is great news. I too would want a rather robust system. The custom case sounds like a nice touch.

Loading Linux is pretty straight forward. Personally, I don't think it is any harder than loading windows (remember when you had to do that!).

Cheers,

Hank
