Unless you're going to sex it up (and you sound as though you aren't), then money on a custom case is a complete waste, IMHO.

I'd be happy with epoxying a motherboard to a support and foregoing the case altogether!

The LCD made a huge difference. I noticed some things that I had never seen before in the game. Very crisp very cool! Er, what?? Not taking anything away from Nucore, but I thought the LCD looked just as good/bad as a regular CRT in good working condition. Maybe the LCD had a *smidge* less contrast...
