Re: Mystery Monday Post
Time to come clean. This is achieved once you have network access to your game. There are some telnet commands built into the stock rfm code that enable various things. One of these is a scene manager that allows you to start the game from any mode, hence the screen shot I attached. I'm sure we can ...

Jukebox Additions
I'd like to request a few features to the Jukebox.
1) Playfield light effects (lamps and flashers) in time to song playing
2) Support for video content. I really want to play my Queen 'live at the bowl' dvd on there!
Cheers as always

Re: My Nucore Installation - Ground Loop Noise Solution
Thanks for the info on the chip, sound interesting. I've been trying to install everything into an existing case (see my other post) so i can plug it into any stock rfm to instantly upgrade it. I wish i could fit 2 psus in there, or find a better small form factor psu with isolated grounds or someth...

My Nucore Installation - Ground Loop Noise Solution
Today found something pretty neat to do with removing ground loop noise issue when using original audio amp and single psu Bought a car audio ground loop filter and connected in between signal cable from motherboard to audio amp. No nasty noise anymore and no need to install second psu. IMG_3106.jpg...

Re: Game Locked on Free Play Can't Make Changes
Sometimes the update just freezes towards the end of the update. I've done updates hundreds of times and never really worked out why. Its just a bit flakey! You can try slowing the baud rate of the serial connection, but that doesn't always make a difference Usually on the highest serial speed the u...

My Nucore Installation - Using Original Case
Thought i'd share some pics of my nucore project. Decided to use an original case and see if could mount everything without massive changes to the case or cutting huge holes into it. Think i've managed this ok and am well happy with the result. I'm using ribbon cables to external headers for the vga...

Re: Game Locked on Free Play Can't Make Changes

Then remove computer and check inside computer that the ribbon cable from the 9-pin header is on the correct port - com1 and is connected the correct way round pin1 red to pin 1 on the motherboard etc William...

Re: tournament AND webcam support?
Anyone who's interested in finding out more about the online tournament i built , see my site at http://tournament.mypinballs.com. You can also get an iPhone app to see the live scores.I've got my RFM hooked up to the on-line tourney, so I'm waiting for Nucore to include this before purchasing.

Re: What would you like to see in Nucore?
I'd like to be able to start the game from any mode, i.e including the greens and i'd also like to see a config option to select a mode permanently for the mystery mode (I love the martian autopsy too much!) Not sure if possible but thought i'd mention.

Is option 1 here still an option for people, or was that idea dropped? Can this type of thing be made yourself?
