Re: Update 11.28.08

It is certainly a classical style arrangement, I would guess by the Navy band or Annapolis academy band or some other Navy deal. Also on my list are some of the songs/speeches in Gladiator, or Master and Commander, you know the idea of something epic. This is actually very near the top of the list r...

Re: Update 11.28.08

I hate to claim ignorance but I don't know. It came from a Navy recruiter CD that a friend of mine in the Navy had. It has a really bright crisp sound on the horns and the drums are something else. That same fellow has a really high end stereo in his truck and when the drums hit your vision blurs. I...

Re: Update 11.28.08

I am not an Alpha tester and I am already mentally playing with the features. Loony Tunes theme? Fanfare for the Common Man? Sound bytes from Tilt?

Requests following the Expo audio

I just listened to the segment on pinball news from pinball expo. If you haven't heard this yet and you own a P2K you really should, not only is it a really good story that perhaps might evolve into Tilt 2 it is a full seminar that answers many of the questions that I have had and wouldn't have had ...

Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp

Pin 9 is the pin to check on your VGA connector to see if 5v is present. Or, you can always wire it up and if you get nothing, then you know you need the 5v. As far as finding a 5v source you have about a half dozen unused connectors for the drives that carry 5v. They also have a 12v line so make su...

Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp

http://www.ultimarc.com/vidamp.html It isn't on their site in a very clear way. It is under Store rather than all the main page descriptions. As far as a picture, I can snap and post one tommorow when I get home. The installation is really a snap. The amp comes with a vga cable and all you have to d...

Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp

I read Clay's tip at http://www.pinrepair.com/pin2000/index.htm#monitor (just over halfway down the page) about adding a video amplifier. He made a good point about PCs being a 1v signal and arcade monitors needing closer to 4v. I installed the one from ultimarc a few days ago and the difference was...

Video Features?

So last night I was watching the extras on the TILT DVD and thinking about how I would love to rip certain segments and have them available for easy play on the RFM machine. I have read here and there about the jukebox, startup video/sound features etc. but I don't recall if there was a specific fea...

Re: Poll - Technical Expertise

What about a dev package for making new games? Is that going to be available? Would it be a programming nightmare or as simple as stringing together routines in a perl script for game mechanics and then building animations? I have no fear of cutting out a playfield, router out the details, populatin...

Re: Are you interested in buying our product?

Software YES. HW, depends, and maybe you can answer this. I totally get the idea of a known compatible configuration, and only supporting software on proven configurations. What I am not sure of is the economics of selling the hardware at a competitive price with whats available though the market al...
