Chuck, sounds like you've got a handle on it. If you decide differently any good hardware store (ACE is my personal favorite around here) will have a good selection of small strips of wood in various dimensions. These are usually three feet long. I'm pretty sure you could find something there that w...

Wouldn't it be fairly easy to screw a few small wood strips down to "frame in" the LCD and then screw a couple of clips to those to hold it in place?

Maybe you could use USB and give the user a choice of a USB hard drive or USB flash stick. But it should be 2.0.

The only universal truth in the pinball world is that no show will ever be close to me.

Hard drives seem to be the universal solution. I wouldn't say they work 100% of the time but in my experience they have been more interchangeable than USB sticks and more reliable than CF. I had a CF card go bad just sitting on the shelf and have had to format them from time to time for inexplicable...

You could always just make the game play itself, grab a beer, and sit back and watch :D

Does the translite reflect enough to make it out?

Glass up or white side up?

Does it slide off the cabinet the first time your back is turned :)

Secondary monitor

It's always a pain using the on board P2K diagnostics with the glass off. Would there be a way to hook up a second monitor to directly read the onboard diagnostic screens?

It's pretty similar but there might be a couple of subtleties. Now, if you yank the glass and put the ball in the shooter lane the ball *automatically* shoots back into play and it should wait until the player shoots the ball to continue. I was also thinking that after a couple of failed ball search...

Ball search remove glass feature

OK, this is sort of related to the ability to PAUSE a game. Sometimes the ball gets stuck somewhere where you have to remove the glass to retrieve it (like behind the slingshot rubbers). It would be great if after several failed ball searches the game would allow you to remove the glass, retrieve th...

Re: Pause Feature

Would it be possible to add in a pause feature? I.E. you cradle the ball for 5 or 10 seconds and a small window Pops up that asks "Would you like to pause the Game?" You select yes with an Action button The ball drains and a "Press Start to Continue" window appears that would la...

Interesting novelty but not something I'd ever use.

That looks EXCELLENT! I especially like the responsiveness of the eddy sensors to fast capture lane shots. The eddy sensors on mine frequently miss fast shots there no matter what I've tried. This is a very exciting project!

BTW, RFM is one of the few games that cries for black rubber :)

Is that with an LCD monitor? You didn't say. It looks good but it's a little hard to say it's an improvement or not without an A-B sort of comparison. Are you sick of our kibitzing yet? :)
