Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp
If you look closely at the board itself, it will be silkscreened next to the cap what cap it is. Also the board most likely will have a small + next to the side where the positive lead goes. Yes but Clay's site only gives the caps values and not the CXXX number needed to identify which caps to chan...

Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp
Thanks Mickster. Mine is a Wells Gardner monitor, any idea which caps I should change?
Clay's site has a list of caps but doesn't say where they on the boards.

Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp
Finally got around to fitting the video amp - spurred on by my monitor getting dimmer and taking longer and longer to warm up, yesterday I could hardly see a picture at all at first. Anyway fitting the amp was easy as I already had the 5v supply and it works great. this a fantastic hack for a failin...

Re: Some missing parts on early test game
Apparently a lot of RFMs that were shipped to europe didn't have spots. Mine came to UK via Holland and the previous owner had retro-fitted the spots but never wired them in. I got them wired up now - easy job. I don't really notice them much when I'm playing a game, I think they come on during Mart...

Re: High Scores.
I just got my RFM a couple of weeks ago and spent more time cleaning it and changing rubbers than I have playing. However just got on the score board today with 200 and something million. Long way to go yet. Still I like a challenge. Its a great game. :D I assume evryone is in tournament mode to mak...

Re: Requests following the Expo audio
If it ever happens...and its a massive if, I vote for a DIY kit of parts. I'd love to assemble a brand new playfield - lots of lovely soldering. And then the moment of truth as you fire it up for the first time and pray that it doesn't all just burst into flames...oooh the excitement.

Re: Fantastic upgrade of images with video amp
My video amp has arrived. Couple of questions though. How do I determine whether I need the extra 5v supply line? and if I do, where is a good point to get it from.

Re: New member
Hi, I'm a new member from UK.
My RFM arrives next monday. I 've got a few other pins but not had a Pin2K before.
I probably wouldn't be buying one with without you guys ensuring the format has a future.
Please keep up the good work
