Re: Rumors of our Demise...

If we are betting on who will deliver and who won't I'm sure not many would bet on the guy who's over his head down under.

Re: LCD Quality

I did not know that! Makes sense, and it's obvious they put some thought into it.

Re: LCD Quality

The video quality looks excellent! But in the test menu what the heck is "Langue"? :) It's the menu entry where you can change the langue of the game. The designers implemented it so that it rotates that choice from English which would read "Language" to some other languages so ...

'BigGuys' probably wouldn't be the ones to make the game, but with NuCore the computing platform issue would be solved. ...

Permission bug in new forum

I'd like to get a letter and use it for TP. In fact I'd print out multiple copies :) You could use this service: http://www.printedtp.com/ That's a good idea. Maybe I could order a few thousand rolls and sell 'em on RGP. Wayne's picture with the TPF logo would probably be a big seller. I'm sure he'...

Port I/O doesn't get any simpler than a parallel port, but by protocols I meant addressing protocols. It's just an eight bit interface and it seems there needs to be a layer that specifies to the board whether you're reading or writing and which register to address or, if a totally polled interface,...

Doesn't the PB2K I/O board simply plug into the PC parallel port? That's about the simplest possible interface, but it's just an 8 bit interface. Did you guys have to reverse engineer the protocol?

Is the LCD mounted being on the outside of the cabinet and held in place with the mount? Any way of mounting it inside the cabinet? I was expecting the whole display to be mounted inside the cabinet where gravity could do most of the work holding it in place (not that you'd leave it that way of cour...
