Re: Pause Feature

Yes, this would certainly be a great feature. Some games can last a long time (My best score is 1.7B and that game seemed to last an hour or more). Wow, In your case I think a Game Save Option would be in order. Where at the Pause screen you had the option to save the game for later retrieval. (act...

Hey sellenoff I borrow ideas from codeproject all the time: The following link has some snippets of code and other information (some VIA links) about ID3 data snagging/manipulation. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/Do_Anything_With_ID3.aspx Utilizing ID3 in a similar manner as the IPOD you could ha...

The only way I'd use a juke feature would be if it were playing content from a local server and if it added something any other networked player doesn't have. The lightshow idea works - that was my first thought too. If it had to be playing local content it just wouldn't be worth the wear on the ga...

Steve, I thought about the whole jukebox / lightshow ideas and came to realize you could sell a jukebox lightshow designer add-on pack for your product. I envision some sort of editor like they have for those xmas light controllers, where the user defines their own lightshow synchronized to the mus...

I read the subject and thought, "YES! I can finally listen to the GAME's music outside the context of a game-in-progress." That's what I would really like; the ability to do a sound test wherein the game's actual entire soundtrack could be played. Much like other pinball titles in test mo...

Building on a prior post, how about being able to play a movie video clips? I could see SWE1 (which I've actually never played or seen so bear with me) playing a Star Wars Episode 1 video clip. You could cycle it in as an attract mode or as part of an intro or post game. Revenge from Mars... althou...

Cute, but I've got a nice stereo. Seriously guys, I like the novelty, but it's a pinball machine. Do you have any more tricks up your sleeve though? We definitely have more stuff to show and even more stuff planned (if we can make it work), so don't worry about that.. FWIW - When chuck first mentio...

If you did end up leaving this in the "product", Might I suggest a "hotkey" that only works in attract mode to enable "Jukebox Attract Mode". For example Press both Action buttons simultaneously to enable "JAM" Which repurposes the flipper buttons as the volu...

I should have mentioned on the video, that I was using cheapo junk 10$ freebie speakers that came with the computer running our software. Once Don get's me a prototype board and I can plug into the real pb2k speakers and amp, that jukebox mode will rock the basement!!

Re: PB2K Jukebox?!?! Video

A new video where Steve is demonstrating the jukebox features of our solution. He did play Spin Doctors and Bon Jovi but no one is perfect ;-) http://www.chucksarcade.com/jukebox.wmv Enjoy Extra credit to anyone who can name all the songs and artists I played in the video. I almost guarantee that n...

Sorry, I'm really mangling these posts. Guess I'm coming up the learning curve on this forums format & buttons. Meant to quote ya so you'd know who I was talking to. Anyway... as indicated, I'm interested in the SWE1. Can you give me a bit of info on what would be included? I was thinking just ...

I'm guessing others just want to know how much it will cost before making a decision. They probably also want to actually see it. That's what the "I need more details" is for rather than a vote of maybe? :) However, for you, not owning the game, the maybe vote makes a lot of sense, so tha...

I'm curious what the reaons people who answered "maybe" have, ie, what are your hesitations. Don't be shy, we just want to improve the customer experience and also improve the product to make it the best it can be. Don't worry, none of us will be offeneded, we look at it as constructive cr...

Call it: Pin2000 NEXT (Newly EXtended Technology) That's kind of a cool name, but everytime I think about it, it makes me laugh, since i have visions of the famous who's on first skit by abbot & costello.. Customer: Yes, I'm interested in your product, what's it called. Us: Next Customer: No, t...

What do you think your updated timing is for having something available to sell to others? Outside of your own "team" working on the project, do you desire any novice Beta users to provide feedback and user testing on a final or near final product? Do you have a price range in mind yet? A...
