Due to spambots a while ago I required that an administrator authorize accounts. I just turned that option off and went to an email verification. It should be easier to register immediately now.
Thanks

Re: Nucore 2.25 Release!
Oh, WMS. Nothing happened actually. We may talk at Expo this year and we could certainly discuss most of what happened in the last 5 years.

Re: Nucore 2.25 Release!
1) I could repost the old distro. It's based on Linux 8.04 which is hard to get libs for. I'll see if I still have it and post it later. 2) Since pinbox is Nucore it should work fine. 3) We're not taking money at this point but appreciate you asking. 4) No, pinbox is really Nucore renamed. We did no...

Re: Nucore 2.25 Release!
Good questions: 1) This version of Nucore does not require the NVRAM/Protection board. 2) I posted that it's for existing users as there's not an available distro for a fresh install yet. 3) I would ask the someone in the community create an install for a newer linux distro. We can help with any lib...

Re: Nucore is Returning!
We're working through the licensing paperwork now. It's obviously taken a lot longer than we suspected. Hopefully more news soon.

Nucore is Returning!
Don and I are proud to announce Nucore is returning to market. We are in the process of negotiating licensing terms and hope to announce the future plans around Nucore shortly. We would both like to thank everyone for their patience and support. Please check back every week or so for our announcemen...

UPDATE 12.01.2014
We are not out of business. We’ve been busy servicing all of our paying Nucore clients. In July of 2013, legal documents were drawn up to allow us to continue to produce Nucore. Rick was on board as well. Two weeks later, the person in the lawsuit (master geek) released Pinbox and ruined it for ever...

Nucore Suspending Sales
Nucore users, Don and I would like to start off by thanking you for your support of the Nucore project for the last 6 years. When Don and I first talked about creating a replacement for the original pinball 2000 computer we never thought we would end up where we are. Recently, a few variables change...

Re: resolution change
Nucore uses the same resolution that the original monitor used, 640x480. We did experiment with artificial image enhancement but decided the original graphics looked best.

Re: weak lights
It does control the duty cycle but I've never heard of a case of weak light due to duty cycle. Now, if your computer is too slow and the lights don't get cycled they will become very bright and silver. Check voltage going to the lights.

Re: weak lights
Weak lights is most likely a power problem on your driver board. Nucore does nothing to control voltages.

Re: How to turn off his computer with NUCORE?
Plug the computer into the same plug that the old computer used. It turns off power when the machine is powered down.
