My theory says the LCD image would be clearer. Each pixel on a curved screen would also be slightly curved, causing the light to spread out something like a flashlight beam, getting wider as it gets further from the source. On an LCD the pixel would be flat, reducing the spread. It's a theory anyway.

It depends on what OS you're running. If it's proprietary and requires an expensive support contract on the buyers part then it would matter. If it's a public domain product with a support forum somewhere then it wouldn't matter to me at all. But it would be useful to the DIY crowd to know exact con...
