it sounds like this will be one of your first desoldering jobs, and replacing a chip on a Pin 2k driver board is a pretty daunting task for your first desoldering job.

The cheapest option is to use a soldering iron and a solder sucker to desolder the chip. Just be careful to keep your soldering iron high enough to melt the solder but low enough that you don't damage the board.

The second cheapest option is to send it off somewhere to be repaired.

The most expensive option would be to buy a Hakko 808 desolderer and do it yourself. This is a good investment if you plan to do a lot of board work, but if this is the only one you plan to do then it would probably be cheaper to send it off for repair.

If you have no experience doing chip replacement I wouldn't suggest you try without someone who is experienced by your side. I would look for a local board repair shop and send it there.
