We would like to know how many people are interested in our product. Please take this poll.

I voted "Need more Details"... cost, what comes with it (in this case I think less is more). Presently my machine works fine, but I am concerned about the future.

We just wanted to get an idea of how many people are initially interested. We will certainly disclose all the details as they are finalized.

this is good news indeed. And something that will be needed. These current motherboards won't last forever and arn't fixable. If the system is converted so any CPU can be used. It would bring unlimited life to the pb2k system. Plus, open up platforms for custom games. Especiallly if roms were done with flashdrives. If this becomes a success, i think we will see a renewed interest in the pb2k platform.

I'm curious what the reaons people who answered "maybe" have, ie, what are your hesitations. Don't be shy, we just want to improve the customer experience and also improve the product to make it the best it can be.

Don't worry, none of us will be offeneded, we look at it as constructive criticism.

I said that because I don't have an RFM. I want one, but have never bought because of the prism/computer issue, combined with the high price. This could convince me to pick up a dead prism RFM if I can find one and replace it with your product.

I'm guessing others just want to know how much it will cost before making a decision. They probably also want to actually see it.

That's what the "I need more details" is for rather than a vote of maybe? :)

However, for you, not owning the game, the maybe vote makes a lot of sense, so thanks for clarifying. :)

That's the danger of subjective multiple choice... you mean it that way, but maybe is a very ambiguous term. They could easily say "maybe, if the price is right" rather than "I need more info because it depends on price".

What does "maybe" & "I need more details&

Well, I just found Your site and I am amazed, that someone tries to update the P2K hardware.

I myself own a RFM and a SWEP1 in full working order. I'm living in Germany and what does "maybe" mean for me? Most important: the price must be right. If Prism-Card fails, well - we all know what that means.

I myself would pay some sort of a bonus, if graphics are enhanced and if there is an open API for new video sequences, modi etc. I will keep tuned...

It's going to be a while yet before you can purchase it. The good news is that you should be able to pick up a pin2k machine for less now than you will be once nucore is out. We have a release goal of 8-12 months. This may change but it's what we're shooting for.

I will certainly buy it. As other have said before: every time your P2k-games misbehaves you're scared shitless that it's the computer/prism-card malfunctioning instead of like on the standard pins: "ok, let's check it out and fix it"...

The only reason for No - for me, is I don't have a Pinball 2000 game. If I did, I'd be all over buying your product as a backup or replacement.
