Andrew wrote:What pb2k machines do you own? Personally, I just own Star Wars. I recognize that it is thought of as the lesser game, but I am a fan of Star Wars generally. I find that out of my four games (Firepower, BK2K, STTNG), that the Star Wars is the most popular for guests. (I am convinced it's the PB2k system).
RFM and used Star Wars playfield on the way (but no ROMS!).

Found a really nice SWE1 machine with cabinet and everything in great shape. had to fix the lightsaber but now everything works perfect. Recently found an RFM playfield only for sale. Snapped it up including the translite, roms, launch button, etc. Hate to admit that I like the RFM machine better than Star Wars (and that is coming from a big Star Wars fan). I think I really lucked out finding the RFM playfield. Too bad Williams didn't make a SWE1 to RFM conversion.

Well as of Saturday I became the owner of a RFM too!!

But obviously I can't vote twice in the poll....or change my vote??

This RFM is not in as good condition as the SWE1, but it's mostly a bit of paint work to the black areas of the Cabinet edges
the artwork is intact, bright and looks fantastic, Playfield really nice, no visible wear, all complete and plays great

:)

I have a full EP1 and RFM playfield / roms / translite etc :)
Was lucky to buy an RFM kit.

Now looking into transferring to nucore. Ordered computercomponents already and will order the base package in a couple of weeks from now :)

I voted RFM, but would also like a project SWEP1..

Maybe I could put the Nucore system between the two machines and with a KVM / Parallel printer switch box, I could have the best of both worlds..!

Swith to A for RFM, switch to B for SWEP1..!

Perfect.
