Spammers

Post by Chuck »

Unfortunately we're having a problem with spammers again. I ban their accounts and add their ip range to the ban list. If you see someone spamming DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS! A whole lot of the time the links will attempt to install trojan key loggers or code to zombie your machine.

Registration and posting now requires our approval. We did this to protect everyone from the spammers. If you register we will approve your account as quickly as possible.

Update:

I found out that the spammer wrote some code that could OCR the confirmation code and they were using a script attack. I removed the confirmation code (useless now) and added two questions that would cause a script to fail. You can authorize yourself again, no confirmation code, no spammers (for the moment.)
