Just added a RFM to my collection and in the process of getting a SWE1 kit. I am planning on buying the complete NUCORE kit but have a few questions.
1) Roms how do you load the roms to the HD?
2) Are the newer version of roms avaliable?
3) Can you apply the updates? With out putting them on roms?
4) Does the nic card on the MB work so you can browse to files? MP3 and rom files? I know you need the recommended nic card for the game to enter touney etc...
5) If you cannot browse your network how do you get files onto the system
I guess If I had some documents to look at these questions would be answered. I might have some questions but these are the ones I can think of.

1) It's very simple, you download them from pinball.com and extract them to the hard drive. Full instructions are included.
2) The ones you will download are newer then the ones that were publicly available.
3) No need to apply the update. It's already done for you.
4) Yes. If you are familiar with linux file sharing you can connect the nucore box to any machine on the network and have the jukebox use those shares.
5) If you don't want to hookup the network you install jukebox files and updated via a USB thumb drive. It's a very simple process also explained in the manual.
