SWE1/RFM shaker motor option

Post by tanthony » Wed Mar 19, 2008 5:03 pm

Along the lines of the Star Trek shaker motor/controller/harness being put together and available at PINBITS... create support for an optional shaker motor. SWE1 and RFM would both be great with a shaker motor. Perhaps coordinating with those guys since they have indicated the idea of leveraging their controller/kit for use on other machines once done with STTNG. At a minimum, make your hardware sufficiently "shaker proof" so a mod like this won't kill your hardware.... but I bet you guys you could really do some cool stuff with a shaker motor.

The two links that are relevant for the STTNG shaker:

Being sold @ pinbits (as kits are available)

Information about it:

Some posts talking about availability, etc. have been on RGP as well. A search on "STTNG shaker" would probably pull up the RGP posts.
