I downloaded the new version to a USB thumb drive, and when I go into the update menu, it says no USB drive detected. My NuCore is version 2.0, game software is 1.6
One thing to note, the new NuCore software isn't the only data on the drive. Would this make a difference? Thanks,
Bill
It's on a RFM machine
NuCore 2.0 won't install, won't detect USB drive
Re: NuCore 2.0 won't install, won't detect USB drive
1) The zip file needs to be extracted.
2) Linux doesn't recognize USB drives formatted on a Macintosh (OSX.) You can format on a pc and copy software or music to the thumb drive and that will work.
3) The unzipped files need to be in the root directory of the USB device.
Hopefully one or more of these will solve your issue.

Got it to update. I had to clear the USB drive. It still is funky on detecting the USB drive. I have to wiggle it around, until it starts to read it.
Now mine says Nucore 2.0, and game ver. 1.8!!!
Thanks Chuck!
