I believe the year showing 2027 just needs to be changed in the williams diagnostics. There is a place to set date and time. Please tell me the process you went through to try and upgrade the code. Did you extract the nucore file from the tar package?

Also make sure your usb stick is formatted with fat. If you format with with NTFS linux will not recognize it.

I have downloaded the file and unzipped the files too a fat32 formatted usb stick ("Download this file, extract it to a USB thumb drive, and follow the upgrade procedure in the manual (page 42.)")
I went too the pin and after the program tells me to put the stick into a usb slot, I do so.

Is is right to unzip the tar.gz file also? I don't remember the update procedure to version 1.01, this was ok.

I have corrected the date format last week with the the Williams menue.

Thank for your answers.

you want to be left with a nucore file. Did you try another download? maybe your first download was bad?

I' ve downloaded twice. After unzipping with windows 7 the USB Stick contains "release12.tar.gz" and "release notes.txt"

I see my fault, I have no nucore file. The file must be uncompressed with Linux gunzip and tar program tomorrow.
