I have ordered the basic package and downloaded 8.04 LTS and was wondering if there was any difference to the one you provide to the standard build?

Lance,

We use 8.04 LTS rev 2. But the system does update the code so what you downloaded will most likely work fine. If it doesn't you could always use the disc we provide.

Will NuCore work with Ubuntu 10.04? It's what I have on my laptop and it would be nice to have the same version on my Pin2k for crazy hacking (the good kind, not the bad kind) purposes.

We don't support 10.04 yet. Once Ubuntu has a very stable version with no audio problems we will most likely switch to it. That being said it *may* work. Although you may run into problems and then our suggestion will be to go back to the version we shipped you.
