Adjusting system volume from a terminal

Post by Chuck »

This will allow you to adjust the main system volume to raise or lower overall volume.

1) Boot the machine and let Nucore start.
2) Exit Nucore by hitting the F1 key (must have a keyboard attached.)
3) Login - user:nucore pass:nucore.
4) type "alsamixer" (without the quotes.)
5) Use the arrow keys to adjust the master volume.
6) Hit the Escape key (Esc) to save and exit.
7) Reboot the system (turn off and back on)
