RFM Lock Divertor questions

Post by goner »

I'm restoring a RFM that I recently picked up. It was missing the divertor paddle. Found one at Marco's. What position is the paddle normally in? I assumed that it would be closed, preventing access to the lock. Test reports that the lock divertor is always open. How does it sense what position the divertor is in? How do I correct this message? Is the paddle breaking off a routine problem? The playfield is worn where the divertor has dragged on the playfield. Should I keep another paddle in stock? Thanks.

I havent seen the paddle assembly so Im sorry I cant help you with its orientation( I just replaced the Lock diverter coil and spring. The plunger was getting hung up on the coil as the coil sleeve was worn) but I would recommend getting another paddle for a spare as RFM parts seem hard to come by I have been ordering parts for the last 2 weeks!
