More questions

Post by Eddie »

Both the Arrow light and the Extra ball lights leading to the popper work just fine during attract mode and during the lamp tests but I hardly see the arrow lit during game play and have never seen the extra ball light lit during gameplay what does it take to light them?

I also rebuilt the flipper assemblies and used new coils and switches yet during the test mode the hold function still does not work on either, any ideas?

You might want to try rec.games.pinball on google groups and see if there is a pinhead in your area willing to come over and lend you a hand.

Thx for the tip but I seem to have everything worked out.

One question about Nucore... I installed the UFOpinball.com saucer LEDs mod

Will that mod be compatible with the Nucore system?

I would hate not having it anymore as it is a really nice mod. Thx

Yes I do! It gives the game the complete Pinball machine experience.

Just a follow up on my question about Nucore and the Saucer LED mod. Maybe you didnt see it.

Will it be compatible with the Nucore system?

Also I stumbled upon this page. Did you have anything to do with it?

http://www.videoengine.com/pins/rfm/default.htm

I wanted to say that you and the fellow Nucore team have my total respect for your intelligence.
Its fascinating learning what is involved and the knowledge that you and your team have in computer code and design.
Im always in awe of people such as yourselves.

The saucer mod *should* work. We haven't tested it yet so don't quote me on that ;-)

Also, thanks for the compliment.

Bill Ung Saucer kit Follow up.

I contacted Bill Ung and asked if his Mod will work with the Nucore system and he said that there should be no problems at all seeing that the system does NOT connect to the Motherboard only the driver board. The Mod's PC board only PLUGS into the available slot on the mother board for mounting purposes.

So we can keep our Saucer Mod when we get our Nucore system!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!
