I'll try to make a long story short. When I first started working with the emulator I noticed that the sound volumes didn't seem quite right in places. It was much more apparent on episode one. We spent a few weeks looking into this one and thought we had come up with a solution. That should be the end of the story right? Well, I have been working on a test app for our program. You setup a system and run this app and it will tell you if everything isn't setup properly. I was adding a sound test and the quality of the sound blew me away. I decided to take another look at the emulator. I discovered the reason why the volumes weren't correct. I re-wrote a big chunk of code, compiled it, ran it... WOOT! Sounds better than it ever did. It's one of those things where it sounds good the old way but sounds incredible when it's fixed =) I'm finally really happy with the sound.

Don is spending countless hours attacking our nasty bug. There will be a celebration when its DEAD.

On a side note, do you know anyone who goes to a baseball game and declares victory in the third inning?? Kind of a silly concept. Jumping up at the end of the third declaring, 'MY TEAM WON!!!!!! GOTCHA YOU LOSERS!!!!!!!" to the whole stadium. Handing out victory hats and making plans for the next game. At the end of the third I'll usually grab a beer and a red-hot, head back to my seat, and snicker at the bozo who forgot about the next 6 innings. I grin even more knowing that my team is about to send out the big hitters.

PLAY BALL!!!!!

=)

DUDE! I NEED! Hurry up already! LOL!

Seriously great to hear! So no more grief from the blunder from down under? I haven't gotten any threatening e-mails from him in quite some time so I assume all is good!

Way to go you 3 guys and can't wait for my installation!
