The response on the licensing news has been awesome. I can't tell you all how much we appreciate your support. Business first, pricing will be released this week. We are finalizing everything and when we have it done I'll post it in the general section. I can tell you everything will be a la carte' so you can pick and choose exactly what you want. We will also sell the hardware that comes with the Nucore base package separately in case anyone wants a spare. There will also be an option to buy everything and have someone put it all together and test it for you. There will be an additional fee for this service but it will be very reasonable for those who want it. We have also decided, based on input from a lot of people, that we will have an official pre-order program. It will be handled by Pinball Life. You will be able to go to their site, pick what you want, and pay for it. People who choose this option will be the first people to receive Nucore when it ships. We plan to start this in about two weeks and I'll keep you updated.

Ok, back to development info. Don changed the audio amp layout slightly to move one of the electrolytic caps away from the heat sink which will extend the life of the cap. He has tested the prototype usb boards and found a couple of small issues and actually removed some parts in the process (which is always good.) We should have new board in shortly and Don is continuing to refine and test the prototype. I integrated auto-detect code for the parallel port/driver board that Don came up with. It works really well and checks all standard parallel port addresses and allows you to override if need be. I also sent out the first BETA code release tonight and everything seems good so far. We'll expand BETA testing when the final usb prototype boards are done. This will probably happen in a couple of weeks. The new jukebox code really paid off. Absolutely zero problems playing any files.

Finally, wait for Watchmen to come to video. It wasn't horrible but wasn't worth spending three hours in the theater either.

Thanks for the update. I would love to be part of the beta and it should really help with the final release.

Thanks too for the Watchman review. It looked good, but you never know. Firsthand accounts are all that count baby!
