Just got my case today and already mounted everything in it and played a few games... :P

A couple minor things:

Is the hard disk meant to be mounted upside-down? The holes in my case were drilled high enough that the hard disk could not be mounted right-side-up.

The case itself blocks light from reaching the upper 2.5" or so of the translite. Not that big of a deal, I'm guessing some short brackets could be made to mount the lamp forward a bit more.

Sure is nice to have everything back inside the machine where it belongs!!!

I'm having the hard drive holes slotted on the front of the case and the brackets should be laser cut in the future. The 2 different hard drives I used both fit fine right side up. Go figure.
Some minor tweaks will be done on the next run.

This is my finished system. Notice where I mounted to usb board. The cable comes out the back and plugs into the usb port. Works great.

Well I have an Alpine 200 watt amp in mine ;-)

I also suggest that people mount our sound amp to the head of the cabinet. It makes more sense.

Hello,

I'm thinking of customizing the original case, for re-use, but can anyone tell me if the dimensions of the custom case are the same as the original case of the Pin 2K machines?

Regards,
Jord

No they are not. You will NOT have enough room to mount a micro ATX motherboard (pretty standard) in the original case. I made these cases larger to accomodate the newer, larger motherboards.
