Having trouble with install of Nucore Keeps coming up with "error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_image-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
LAUNCHER [0] Shutdown


While loading the only errors showen are
WARNING: /etc/mod probe.d/blacklist line 46: ignoring bad line starting with '-e'

Same message for line 46 through 53

Help pulling hair out handfulls at a time

Load Ubuntu 8.10 since my disk got scratched

Mother board is a Intel desktop board D525MW with Intel Atom processor D525
4g DDR3
Stata 160 gb hard drive

Two problems:

1) You can't use Ubuntu 8.10. That's why you're getting the SDL image problem. You must use 8.04. If you can't find it on ubuntu's site message me and I'll send you a link.
2) An Atom processor will not work with Nucore. It is below the minimum specs and could cause problems. Please choose a processor that at least meets the minimum specs.

Chuck I found a ver. 8.04 o line and installed it Nucore software loaded ok no errors found until line 40 thru 43. And like you said it said the CPU not supported. So trying t find a motherboard with a parrell port is getting harder I see that Tiger direct has this one will it work

Did you install an arcadeVGA card or just use the built-in video? If you used the built-in video something failed during the install process or you forgot to download the ROMS.
