Nucore was a big hit at PATZ. People who thought they wouldn't ever buy it always fell in love with at least one of it's features. A lot of people LOVED the jukebox. Many were stunned by the lcd monitor. I had Koz (top ten pinball player in the world) play it and asked him what he thought. He said in a very matter of fact way, "Plays just like the original." That made me smile. So nucore as the replacement product was a hit.

Just as importantly, maybe even more so to me, there was definate interest in nucore as a foundation for new games/modes. That was always one of our longterm goals. There will be more news about this aspect in the coming months. I think it's safe to say that pinball 2000 owners definately have something to be excited about =)

Well, maybe if we had the sound system Chuck put in his, we would understand

It really sounded pretty incredible. One of the people from this forum said, "You don't need a shaker motor mod with this sound system." They had a point. Explosions made the machine shake. I'm planning on taking the same machine to expo. We are doing a seminar on nucore. By then I will actually have the JL sub installed and *properly* shielded =)

Yeah... what you had sounded good, you just needed a lot more of it at PATZ.

If you're not making enough noise and video for people to turn their heads and go "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?", then you're not doing it right!
