Driver Board Technical Question...

I just realized that NuCore is the "hot shot PC programmer looking for a challenge", mentioned by pinrepair back in January of 2002!

I was wondering. The pin2000 driver board looks simplistic compared to other systems even those years earlier. Can it adjust flipper power, compensating for line voltage or operator preference? Can it PWM the lamps to get various brightness and fading effects?

It has no feature to adjust flipper power in hardware. There is also no PWM in hardware. You have to do that in software. 18 volts is sent to the lights so if you don't you will quickly burn out bulbs.

18V to the lamps? I'll bet that was interesting during development. You must have some spare lamps available! :)
